Don’t use ..
The ppl at Cobb Water is RUDE AND incompetent .. How can I be disconnected for a bill I never got, after you all bought out the company.. where are these ppl common sense, after six months of returned mailed and disconnected phones numbers, how is it that you could have just simple send a bill or statement or some damn body out to the service address. But I guess they didnt have trouble finding someone wen it was time to disconnect.. Im shock at ppl with lack of 5 senses

No notice of phone call or email.They shut off as I showering my ill husband.Called customer service they were rude and said they did not have time for this and very mean spirted about this.Most companies care somewhat for customers.This is a monoply so they do what want to consumers

New to area, first time customer. Signed up for eStatements. They did not send a eStatement or bill pay reminder, so we missed our payment. They also did not send any warnings that we missed the payment and would have our water shut off. With no warning, they shut our water off. Annoying.

Monopoly business.. terrible customer service.
My water is shut off for non payment of bill despite 25+ years of having service from them. Of course, it is my fault and I am happy to pay a late fee for the same. An abrupt shutoff of water for simply misplacing/forgetting to pay the bill is a terrible inconvenience. I paid the outstanding amount within minutes of the water being shutoff and have to wait for them to come back out to turn it back on. No estimate on when they will come. There is no difference between a customer who moves out without paying and a long standing customer with a record of on-time payments. They don't call, leave a message or email despite having all the information. Their website is the worst Cobb County water does not care. It is easier for them to shut off the water and not care about their customers. They don't care because they are a monopoly business. Shame on them.

Service cut off 3 days b4 bill due for less than $197. Called customer service it took 30mins to get a rep. The rep took pleasure in knowing my h2o service was cut off. The rep was very nasty and truly a racist. As a disabled veteran i was very upset that i have risked my life in combat to endure the nasty customer service of cobb county watet system. Until, cobb county water system get rid of that jim crow system of red necks.

They claim a meter discrepancy - that we have a leak-WE DO NOT HAVE A LEAK

Even though I was home and the front door to my home was open (glass door closed but main wood door open), the meter reader sneakily hung the notice on my side door stating that there was a discrepancy of 34,000 gallons. I work from home - there is NO LEAK. The house across the street has been for sale and unoccupied until recently. I think they have messed up the last meter reading for my house with the one across the street from my house. That is the only reason that I can think of that the reading could be so out of whack. I need help getting some cooperation to look into this. The "customer service representative" ( I use the term loosely) told us that there was no recourse and we simply have to pay $400 for the meter difference.

Awful!! I have waited for over 30 minutes on hold on every call I have made to them. They have a recording which states "we are having a high-call season" that is on through rhe year. Their service is terrible, they cannot answer the most simple of questions and they will turn your service off for a $40. bill just to make their $50. reconnect fee (this happened to a neighbor) . They also lie about call-backs... They told me I would get a call-back and I waited 8 hours for a reply.

This place does this about once every year. They have your bill so jumbled that they can't even explain it themselves. I've never had large past due water bills and have always kept them paid, however they will send someone out before the bills due date to cut off your water. This is a dishonest plot to charge you the full amount plus service fees of an extra $60.00 dollars. Luckily there was a nice water company employee that alerted us and told us to go and pay the bill. Nevertheless the old lady at the window was rude and said that the past due date for payment wasn't the one on the bill. When I asked her where it was she refused to answer me, I stated because there's not one...come to find out there isn't. I spoke with an employee (Friend) that worked at Cobb County Water and he said this was a way they could charge the entire amount and get reconnection and service fee's. Even if they haven't shut off your water. They are the only Cobb Government office I've noticed that employs this practice. Your at their mercy due to the fact they're the only water service in this area. I have a degree in Psychological as well as a degree in Criminal justice. I am retired from the Military and work in my families buisness at this time. I'm only stating this because I'm no *** and I understand dishonest patterns. I hope someone with some authority will look into this!

I just got off the phone with the rudest ,most vile supervisor. About two weeks ago my husband made a payment to Cobb Water System. Today they came & turned my service off for non payment. I called the office & asked if I could get an extension for a supervisor to call me bk & I got a call bk stating that another payment had to be paid before they could turn it bk on. I asked about an arrangement & they said no exceptions. I explained that my husband has cancer & we are on a tight budget due to the hospital payments ect. We have 5 children in our home & she was very rude. I informed them that I will be making a formal complaint to the news station & better buisness and she said go ahead with a very nonchalant attitude. Where is the decency and respect at? They treat us like we are nothing. I am very disturbed & disappointed in their customer service department. On top of everything it yook 45 mins for them to pick up the phone & 3.5 hrs for a,supervisor to return my call.

The most corrupted water system
Well to make it a long story short I was awoken at 4 am because of the water system people working in my neighbors yard. Yea talk about a real nuisance. My neighbor just had gotten a brand new sprinkler system put in, and sod spreader on his yard. And guess what Cobb just did, they ruined it. This is so unbelievable. I don't even know if my neighbor knows they were doing this. Here are some pictures for proof. Thanks for reading this, and hopefully one day we can show how terrible and corrupt the Cobb county water system is.

First my service was cut off 3 days b4 bill was due for less than $197. I called in to turn service on in my name and was told I had an unpaid balance , I told them I would call back after I discuss it with my husband the same day I get a call form my realtor stating that the seller of the property that I'm buying called Cobb water and they gave them information that I had an unpaid balance. It clearly states when you call if you don't have account number you cannot have access to an account. So why did you feel it was appropriate to give out my information. Not even an apology !!!! So unprofessional !

We are being over charged for our water bill the last meter reader didnt even read our meter and the new meter readed told me that we are being charged for our neighbors across the street water .
this happened to us a few years ago and they told us we had to get a plumber out to prove we didn't have a leak so we call a plumber he checked and we had no leaks. then he went out to check the meter and it had 3inches of mud and dirt on it and he said he didn't know how anybody could read it and he also said it was not working anyway. we are going to have a plumber come out again just to prove that we do not have a leak which I already know we don't but at our expense which ticks me off that we have to go through this again because they have not done their properly.

This is the most: unbending, uncaring, rude, and in the past I believe corrupt utility I have EVER encountered. A few years ago I KNOW they were selling my information to marketers because I received tons of junk mail with my named spelled wrong and they were the only ones who had my name spelled that way. But the real issue is they will not work with you. If your service is cut off you must pay a fifty dollar reconnect fee that day AND the total of your bill current and past due before they will reconnect. We have just returned to work after being laid off for six months and every one else (Ga Power, Scana, and even Comcast) was willing to work with us.
